MyInvois e-invoicing, free on every Lejar plan
Lejar is accounting software that submits your e-invoices to LHDN’s MyInvois system for you. It is included on every plan, including the Free plan at RM0, with no charge per e-invoice. You create the invoice in Lejar, press Submit to MyInvois, and Lejar shows LHDN’s answer on the invoice.

What does Lejar do for MyInvois?
Submit from the invoice
Create the invoice in Lejar and press Submit to MyInvois. Lejar builds the e-invoice from the invoice, your business profile and your customer’s details, and sends it to LHDN.
See LHDN’s answer on the invoice
Each invoice shows its MyInvois status: not submitted, awaiting LHDN, valid, or rejected with LHDN’s reason. You can retry a rejected submission after you fix it.
Pending statuses are checked for you
Every day, Lejar asks LHDN again about submissions that are still pending, until each is valid or rejected. Each invoice shows its own status, and the MyInvois page shows your consolidated e-invoice history by month.
Credit notes, debit notes and refund notes
A submitted invoice is locked. To change it, issue a credit note, debit note or refund note against it in Lejar, and submit that note to MyInvois too.
Consolidated e-invoices
Pick a month and Lejar shows which invoices can go into a consolidated e-invoice, which need their own e-invoice, and which are left out, with the reason. Then submit, and see the history of past runs.
A compliance check for each closed month
Lejar checks a closed month against the e-invoice errors LHDN has publicly named, and lists each invoice it finds, so you can fix the actual document.
Lost replies are held for you to check
If a document reached LHDN but LHDN’s reply never came back, Lejar holds it instead of sending it again on its own. You check the MyInvois portal and record what you find.
The PDF matches what LHDN received
Once an invoice is submitted, its PDF prints from the same record that went to LHDN, so a later change to your profile or a contact does not change the copy your customer gets.
How do you set it up?
- Complete your business profile. Settings, e-Invoice shows a checklist of the fields LHDN needs, such as your TIN and MSIC code. Lejar can ask LHDN whether your TIN and registration number match before you go further.
- Appoint Lejar’s operator in MyTax. In LHDN’s MyTax portal, appoint Iterate Ventures Sdn. Bhd., the company that runs Lejar, as your MyInvois intermediary. You do this once.
- Verify the appointment. Press Verify appointment in Lejar. Lejar checks with LHDN directly, and e-invoicing turns on once the appointment is active.
The appointment walkthrough shows each MyTax screen.
What does Lejar not do yet?
- Self-billed e-invoices.
- Sending e-invoices over the Peppol network.
- Printing LHDN’s validation QR code on the invoice PDF.
Who must issue e-invoices, and from when?
That is LHDN’s decision, not ours, and the rules change. Our MyInvois guide sets out who must issue e-invoices, the dates, the exemptions and consolidated e-invoices, with LHDN’s sources.
MyInvois questions
Does Lejar charge extra for MyInvois e-invoicing?
No. MyInvois e-invoicing is included on every Lejar plan, including the Free plan at RM0. There is no charge per e-invoice.
Do I still need the MyInvois portal?
Day to day, no: you submit from Lejar. You make the one-time appointment in LHDN’s MyTax portal, and you can open the MyInvois portal to look up a document, for example if LHDN’s reply to Lejar was lost.
Do I have to issue e-invoices?
That depends on LHDN’s rules for your business. Our MyInvois guide explains who must issue e-invoices, from when, and what is exempt.
Can I use Lejar for e-invoicing if I already keep my books elsewhere?
Yes, but Lejar works best as your accounting software too: the invoice you submit is the same one that posts to your ledger, so you do not type the figures twice.
