Lejar

Terms of Service

Version 2026-07-13

1. Who we are

lejar.ai ("Lejar", "we", "us") is operated by Iterate Ventures Sdn. Bhd. (Registration No. 202601021291 (1683388-P)), No. 192-3rd Floor, Jalan Changkat Thambi Dollah, 55100 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms. If you use Lejar on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorised to bind that business to these terms.

2. The service

Lejar is a double-entry accounting application for Malaysian small and medium businesses. It keeps your books, issues documents such as invoices and bills, and offers AI-assisted features for capturing and organising your records.

Lejar is currently in beta. Features may change, be added, or be removed as the product matures. We work hard to keep the service stable, but during beta we do not promise a particular level of availability.

3. Your account

You must be at least 18 years old and use the service for business purposes. Sign-in is by a link sent to your email address, so keeping access to that mailbox secure is your responsibility. Tell us promptly at support@lejar.ai if you believe your account has been accessed without authorisation.

4. Your data and ownership

Your accounting records belong to you. We store and process them only to provide the service, as described in the Privacy Policy. We do not sell your data. Access to an organisation's records is limited to the members that organisation has invited.

You are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of the records you keep, and for meeting your own statutory record-keeping obligations (for example, retention periods under Malaysian tax law).

5. Acceptable use

You agree to keep genuine accounting records and to use the service in accordance with applicable Malaysian law. You must not attempt to access other organisations' data, probe or disrupt the service, resell access without our agreement, or use the service to store unlawful content.

6. AI features

Lejar includes AI features such as document capture and the Ask lejar assistant. AI output can contain mistakes. Suggested entries, categorisations, and answers are aids, not conclusions: you (or your accountant) remain responsible for reviewing and approving what goes into your books.

7. Not professional advice

Lejar is software, not an accounting, tax, or legal advisory firm. Nothing produced by the service constitutes professional advice. Consult a qualified professional for decisions that depend on accounting, tax, or legal judgement.

8. Third-party submissions

Where Lejar transmits documents on your behalf to a third-party system you have configured, it does so as your tool and on your instruction. You are responsible for the accuracy of the submitted information and for your compliance with the relevant requirements.

9. Fees

The service is free to use during the beta period. We expect to introduce paid plans in future. If we do, we will give you clear notice before anything is charged, and continued use of paid features will require an active plan. We will not charge you silently.

10. Suspension and termination

You may stop using Lejar at any time, and you can request a copy of your data or deletion of your organisation as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, abuse the service, or create risk for other users, and where practical we will warn you first.

11. Intellectual property

We own the Lejar software, branding, and service. You retain all rights in your data. You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service while these terms apply.

12. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" during beta, and our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose (or RM100 if you have paid none). Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Malaysian law.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. The version date at the top of this page changes when we do, and material changes will be announced in the app or by email. Continued use after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.

14. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and the Malaysian courts have jurisdiction over disputes. Questions about these terms: support@lejar.ai.
